MTH (0144) 341 - Complex Variables

Students will define and explore the complex number plane, functions of a complex variable, derivatives, analytic functions, elementary functions. Students will apply the Cauchy-Riemann equations, evaluate complex line integrals, determine Taylor Series, Laurent series, residues and poles, and learn the properties of conformal maps.

Prerequisite 1: MTH 243 and (MTH 253 or PHY 211 )
