Students engage in the debates of ancient philosophers that are the basis and background of many of our contemporary philosophical concerns. Through the study of The Pre-Socratics, Plato, Aristotle and subsequent philosophers, students examine ancient conceptions of science, metaphysics, virtue, and politics.
