SPY (0504) 650 - Case Seminar I


Credits: 3.00

Students will integrate theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom with clinical experiences gained at community, treatment, and mental health settings.  The role of psychologists in these settings will be analyzed and treatment plans and intervention strategies that serve to address the needs of specific populations will be reviewed.

Prerequisite 1: SPY 621  
1. Learn the management and consultative role of psychologists in community treatment settings

2. Attain competency in creating case formulations and treatment plans

3. Gain competency in working with diverse populations

4. Become knowledgeable in evidence-based practice
