From the intense naturalism of Van Eyck to the grotesque fantasies of Bosch and the classicism of DÅ¸rer, this course explores the fascinating variety of artistic expression in Northern Europe during the Renaissance period. Students will research and present works of Northern European Renaissance art at the Metropolitan Museum.
